Oats Roti


  1. Oats - 3/4 cup,  
  2. Whole wheat flour (atta) 1/2 cup
  3. Salt  to taste
  4. Pure ghee 2 tablespoons

For Masala filling

  1. Cumin powder 1 1/2 teaspoons
  2. 1 cup Garlic paste
  3. 1 tsp Ginger paste
  4. Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Onion - 1, small, finely chopped
  7. Green chilli,chopped 1
  8. Salt  to taste
  9. Yogurt - 1/4 cup (optional)
  10. Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Pure ghee 1 1/2 tablesp


  1. In a bowl, add the wheat flour with all masala filling Ingredients salt and  water,knead well the dough.
  2. Make small balls from the prepared dough.
  3. Place the dough in the floured surface and roll the dough into a thick roti.
  4. In a hot griddle, place the roti and cook both sides until turns to light brown color.
  5. Repeat the same with the other rotis.
  6. Serve immediately with yoghurt or garlic chutney.
  7. you can Keep Oats Roti 's in a covered container or wrap them in aluminum foil.
