Naan

Ingredients:

  1. Wheat or Mida  flour ½ kg 
  2. Sugar 1 tbsp
  3. Yeast 1 ½ tbsp
  4. Butter 2 to 3 tbsp
  5. Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Add yeast and sugar to warm water and put aside.
  2. When yeast is raised to desired consistency, add plain flour, salt and milk or water and knead into fine dough.
  3. Wrap with a plastic sheet and keep in a warm place for 2 to 3 hours.
  4. Make small balls from the prepared dough.
  5. Place the dough in the floured surface and roll the dough into a thick naan.
  6. In a hot griddle, place the naan and cook both sides until turns to light brown color.
  7. Repeat the same with the other naan.
  8. Serve immediately with yoghurt or garlic chutney.
  9. you can Keep naan’s in a covered container or wrap them in aluminum foil.
