Ginger Soup


  1. 1 medium onion, chopped
  2. 4 carrots, peeled and chopped
  3. 1 tbsp. fresh grated ginger
  4. 1 tbsp. oil
  5. pepper and salt
  6. 2 tbsp Corn Flour / Meidha


  1. In pan add oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and cook about 5 minutes. Do not brown.
  3. Add carrots and ginger another 5 minutes.
  4. Dissolve corn starch in 1/2 cup water and add to the soup stirring constantly till it becomes thick and add in pan.
  5. blend soup in pan until mixture is pureed/smooth. 
  6. Add ground pepper.
