Corn Soup

Ingredients

  1. 6 baby corns , chopped
  2. 1/2 onion , chopped
  3. 2 garlic cloves , chopped
  4. 1/4 cup chopped french beans
  5. 1/4 cup carrot,cabbage,boiled green peas,cauliflower florets
  6. 1/4 cup cheese  
  7. chopped coriander (dhania) leaves for garnishing
  8. black pepper powder to taste
  9. 1 tsp sugar
  10. salt to taste

Method

  1. Take baby corns, onions and garlic and cook till the baby corns turn soft.
  2. Cool and blend in a mixer till smooth, strain the mixture and keep aside.
  3. Heat a little oil in a pan, add the carrots, beans, cauliflower and cabbage and flame for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the corn puree and green peas with 1 cup of water and bring the mixture to boil.
  5. Add salt, pepper and sugar, mix well and boil for 1 minute.
  6. Remove from the flame, add the cheese and mix well.
  7. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
